1. Hello Phonk d’or! Thank you for accepting our invitation on this interview. How are you? How does look this year for you so far?
Hello, I’m fine thanks
and you? The year so far looks amazing, I had a busy schedule, performed all over the world, from Russia to Miami
2. You are a very talented house music producers. For how long have you been doing this and how did it start? What musical background have you got?
Thank you! Well, I became a full-time dj/producer around 7 years ago. I started with trance and house music as 2 alias names. NENES for Trance and PHONK D’OR for house music. Before that i was playing as a hobby some french hip-hop
3. How would you describe your style for the persons that didn’t heard your music yet?
My style is very divers. I perform to entertain people and in every club, in every country, people like different styles etc. So I combine music and see what people like and what people don’t like, that goes from commercial, to progressive, from tech-house to dirty dutch style for example.
4. Regarding the musical creation, what are the main influences? Where are you inspiring from when you produce a track?
I let myself be inspired by every genre of music and I always listen to a lot of music. My main influences since the beginning are the Swedish House Mafia. Those guys are both in their dj sets as in their productions perfection for me, but guys like Guetta, Avicii, Benny Benassi etc I also have big respect for.
5. What are the influences of your style as a DJ? Where do you fit?

6. If you were to pick some DJs who have had some brilliant performances in the past year, which ones would you choose?
Well, for sure again the Swedes, like Axwell, Ingrosso, Angello, Alesso (who I did a nice remix for in the past), Avicii, Thomas Gold, and Afrojack aswell with his #1 track with Pitbull in the US ‘Give me everything’.
7. Your favourite producer at the moment.
Axwell
8. Who would you love to remix your music?
Probably Alesso.
9. Which was the most strange or unusual place you’ve been mixing ever?
I’ve been to some strange places in the world, hmmmmm, the strangest place was probably the time that i’ve played on an after-party in a hotel suite in Malaysia
10. I know that you were recently in Romania. What is your point of view about Romania and Romanian people? Do you know any romanian artist or producer?
Well, I know many romanian artists/producers and some are my friends. Bucharest is like my 2nd home and I always enjoy coming there. For me Bucharest has the best clubs in Europe! This Friday, 21st of October i’ll play again in Bucharest, this time in famous Bamboo club, very excited to perform there and I hope there’ll be lots of party people!
11. Which equipment do you use?
For my dj-sets i use pioneer cdj-2000 players and a djm-800 mixer, for me is the best but of course it’s very personal. In the studio I use Logic Pro.
12. Favourite piece of equipment / gadget. Why?
My blackberry

14. At what studio projects are you working now?
I’m doing a lot of new stuff in the studio at the moment, just finished a new remix for commercial french act: The Nycer, working on the new Phonk d’or single, working on some collabs with guys like Jesse Voorn etc and starting on a new commercial project which is very excited!

June/July 2012 be there! My fav. place in the world!

Best and biggest party concept in the world! I’ve played there once in the polish edition, it was amazing!

I’ll be there only 1 day this week, cause after I’ll fly to Bucharest to perform at Bamboo
