Born in Paris, Grégori Klosman is a rising name in the House music scene. Musician since early, his track ‘Fuckin Down’ with Tristan Garner is definitely the banger of 2010. Supported by artists such as Erick Morillo, David Guetta, Tiesto, Antoine Clamaran… just to name a few, his original compositions have secured Gregori with a bright future on international dancefloors.
1. Hello Grégori Klosman! Thank you for your kindness and for your time assented to this talk. How are you? How did this year start for you?
I’m fine, summer is here now. Thank you for the invitation. For me this year is incredible. So many big tracks, remixes and main gigs.
I hope everything will keep going forward.
2. You are one of the best house music producers, what musical background have you got?
I learned piano from 7 to 16 years old. Classical, Jazz, and Modern. Also I’m influenced a lot by Daft Punk, French Touch, Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop.

4. After the house anthem ‘Fuckin Down’ with Tristan Garner, you have recently launched a crazy track called ‘Bounce’. How goes the video contest for this track?
Haha, it’s really impressive how many videos we receive from fans all over the planet.
The contest is not over, so keep sending those videos of you bounceing your heads.
5. Have you ever had to take risk, talking from musical point of you?
It’s not a risk if your analysis of Music is obvious and close from reality. Better to tell the truth and your deep thoughts than lying to fake everything is fine.
6. How would you describe your sets? What are the styles you mix more often?
Powerful, Mad, Full of energy. Same effect as ‘Redbull’ haha. Styles I play the most are : Big Room, Progressive House, Electro House / Dutch.
7. Regarding your producer skills, what are the main influences? How do you get inspired when you produce a track?
Really influenced by Daft Punk, Axwell, Deadmau5, Fedde Le Grand. I often listen to old French Touch and House Music Track, before starting a project.
8. Between music production and DJing, which one is your priority?
You can’t dissociate. DJing is the best way to share my music with the fans. I love both so impossible to choose.
9. If you were to pick some DJs who have had some brilliant performances in the past year, which ones would you choose?
Bob Sinclar, Swedish House Mafia, Eric Prydz, Deadmau5, David Guetta, Chuckie.
10. Your favourite producer.
Fedde Le Grand & Axwell.
11. Who would you love to remix your music?
Pleasurekraft, Rivastarr, Fedde Le Grand, Axwell.
12. Which equipment do you use?
Mac Pro, Logic Studio 8, Saffire Sound Card, 2 wide-screens, Edirol PCR-800, and my brain & ears
13. Favourite piece of equipment/gadget?
My laptop & Apogee One, so I can still work on tour.
14. Which was the best event that you have mixed for?
Technoparade (Paris, FR), Dancetour (Breda, NL), WMC (Miami), Pacha (Salou, SP)
15. There is a place where you have not had the opportunity to mix, but you really wanted?
Pacha Ibiza.
16. What is your advice for young DJ’s that are just at the start of a DJ life?
Work hard, get inspired but never copy, trust in yourself and most important : DON’T DO THIS FOR FAME !!!
17. Have you a favourite quote? Something that inspires you?
Trust your goosebumps. Think out of the box. Please the people.
